Microclimate Weather Station

Ultrasonic weather station measuring temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, rainfall, wind, solar light and UV — wireless LoRa connectivity up to 5 km to the Agrivate platform.

Microclimate Weather Station

Overview

The Agrivate AG-MCS-1 weather station combines an ultrasonic anemometer, a piezoelectric rain gauge, barometric, temperature and humidity sensors, plus solar light and UV measurement, in a single IPX5 enclosure. Data is transmitted wirelessly over LoRa up to 5 km and reaches the Agrivate platform for ETo (FAO-56) calculation, disease risk models and alerts.

Key features

  • Wireless LoRa communication up to 5 km
  • Automatic data sync to the Agrivate platform
  • Piezoelectric rain gauge & ultrasonic anemometer
  • Barometric pressure, temperature & humidity
  • Solar light intensity & UV index
  • Waterproof IPX5
  • LoRa data transport, heater & power supply

Where it is used

Olive groves, vineyards, nut and stone-fruit orchards where spraying and irrigation are planned around the weather — with a wireless LoRa connection to the Agrivate platform.
